The StudentNest Foundation, the philanthropic arm of StudentNest Tutoring, has announced a new partnership with the LAUSD Education Foundation to extend support to Los Angeles Unified students beyond academic hours. This collaboration is designed to address the critical needs of students and their families outside the traditional classroom setting.

As part of this commitment, StudentNest Foundation has pledged $5,000 to the LAUSD Education Foundation’s Compassion Fund. This year-round cash assistance initiative provides vital support for families struggling with basic necessities, including rent, utility bills, and groceries.

"We are grateful for StudentNest's support of the Compassion Fund which helps support families to make sure they have what they need to keep their students' education within reach and a priority," said Sadie, Executive Director of the LAUSD Education Foundation.

The LAUSD Education Foundation serves as a bridge between philanthropy and the school district, mobilizing resources for students and families with the highest levels of need.

"Our tutors support LAUSD students academically every day, but we know learning doesn't happen in isolation," said Monika Joshi, President and CEO of StudentNest. "By investing in the Compassion Fund, we're strengthening our commitment to students and families throughout the LAUSD community".
