Programs

Our programs include Math, Science, English, Reading, Computer Literacy, Robotics, 3-D Printing, and SAT/ACT preparation. All programs are available online, and we offer in-person courses as needed. We introduce new programs frequently to meet the evolving needs of our students.

We provide regular Professional Development (PD) and regular meetings at StudentNest to ensure our instructors are delivering the most up-to-date course material. StudentNest conducts weekly quality assurance meetings to ensure that students are progressing and that our services are being delivered with fidelity.

We provide a monthly summary to parents and school districts to ensure that all parties with a vested interest in the growth of the student are well aware of the progress. For parents and school districts that require a more frequent update, we are organized to provide that support. We are also able to provide updates to parents via phone at the parent’s request. This is all in addition to our in-person progress report review session with parents.

Justice Services

All standard tutoring content is reviewed and updated on an annual basis with timely updates made to align with changing educational requirements. For example, when the Common Core standards went into effect, we instituted a significant update to our tutoring content to ensure alignment. Our tutoring content is also aligned to meet school districts’ requirements to ensure compliance with their needs and the needs of each State’s standards.

StudentNest’s tutoring content is aligned to each State’s content standards. The curriculum has been established over 16 years of providing services.

For student learning plans we conduct a pre-test, and based on the results a SLP is created. The SLP is provided to our content and technology team to upload the necessary educational content for our educators. Upon completion of the program, a post-assessment is conducted to support a continuous feedback loop process to refine our learning plans.

SLP development is acknowledged as an important step in tutoring. This task will be completed by our site coordinators who will also be responsible for grading and entering scores into the database. Our office staff creates State Standards aligned student achievement goals based on students’ needs determined by the pre-test and generates SLPs. We recognize parent engagement as a key component of a child’s academic progress because it helps in developing a trusting and respectful relationships with families.

We have been very pleased with the professional services they provide to meet all of our student’s needs. Trainings are very through in showcasing their LOTUS program and how it is administered and the result reports that are made available for each student.

The reports that have been made available for us to view have been helpful for us to report results to our district personnel. Additional reports we have requested for our record keeping have been quickly set-up as needed. All invoices are received on time and come with all the proper documentation needed for our Accounts Payable Department.

We look forward to working with StudentNest.com again in the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. Many of our students who have been receiving tutoring services have already requested services in the coming year!

To Whom It May Concern;

Compton Unified School District (CUSD) and StudentNest/WizIQ (SN) have worked together since 2006. Over the last 12 years, SN has provided excellent services to our staff and students. CUSD is a school district in the Los Angeles area with 35 schools and over 22,000 students. SN has provided Training and tutoring services to our staff and students respectively.

At all times they have kept a professional relationship and met or exceeded our needs. Their friendly staff has always put the needs of our teachers and students at the top. Over the years we have had the need to community with their technical support and content development team to request minor changes to the platform. the team was always willing to address our request.

We have used the Live platform with audio, video, whiteboard, chat, & recordings. To the best of my recollection we never experienced any delays or downtime issues with the system. CUSD had over 2,000 participants over the 12 years with this platform, with many of the students receiving 25-30 hours of services. Thus, in total our staff/students received over 40,000 hours of services.
